Window Tint FAQs

  • Most are done in a day. Drop it off in the morning and pick it up later. If we’re tinting more than 2 front windows, it’ll take longer.

  • We’ll install whatever you want but if you get a ticket, we are NOT responsible.

    Tint darkness for sedans:

    • Windshield: No tint.

    • Front Side windows: Must allow more than 50% of light in.

    • Back Side windows: Must allow more than 50% of light in.

    • Rear Window: Must allow more than 50% of light in.

    Tint darkness for SUV and vans:

    • Windshield: No tint.

    • Front Side windows: Must allow more than 50% of light in.

    • Back Side windows: Any darkness can be used.

    • Rear Window: Any darkness can be used.

  • Cheap tints like the ones you buy at automotive stores typically last 3-5 years, but we only use high-quality tint that lasts 7-12 years.

  • Our address is 4918 W. 35th Street Minneapolis. 2 miles west of Uptown. We also offer VIP service where we will pickup and deliver your vehicle within 20 miles for an additional fee.

  • To care for new car tint, wait at least 3 days before rolling down the windows or cleaning them.

    Use a soft cloth and a gentle, ammonia-free cleaner for the first week after installation.

    Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasives, and sharp objects that could damage the film.
